New Shipment#
The form is used to insert a new shipment into the database. The insertion is performed after filling in the details by clicking the Insert button. The Populate address from existing customer field allows you to select one of the customers stored in the database. To use this option, start typing Customer ID, Search String, or Company Name into the field next to the Select button and, once you see the desired customer in the list below, choose them (either by clicking or by using the up/down arrows and pressing Enter). Clicking Select will then fill all applicable customer fields into the new shipment form. Only fields with matching names will be applied. When you start typing in the City field, a list of cities beginning with the entered text will appear below. If you select a city from this list (by clicking or using the up/down arrows and pressing Enter), it will populate the City field and automatically overwrite the ZIP Code field. Conversely, if you start typing in the ZIP Code field and select a code from the list, the City field will be populated—provided it was empty. The Customer ID and Search String fields are used only if you check Save to customer list. This will also save the entered values as a new customer in the customer list. If you also check Overwrite matching ID, the address of an existing customer with the same Customer ID will be overwritten. If this box is not checked and a duplicate Customer ID is detected, the application will display an error when saving. After selecting the shipment type, the form will redraw and display fields relevant to that type.If you enter a quantity other than 1, the specified number of shipments will be created in the database. If email sending is enabled in company settings, then after performing the Send email to customers action, an informational email about dispatched shipments will be sent to the address entered in the Email field. The Print Note for label field is printed on shipment labels and on acceptance documents. The Customer Reference field is for entering your own shipment number (an optional value that will be printed on the label).Shipment List#
The form is used for searching, displaying, editing, and printing shipments. It allows sorting by any column and filtering of displayed records.Sorting is applied by clicking a column header in the shipments table. Clicking the same column again reverses the sort order, and clicking a third time clears sorting.Filtering is configured in the Filter section, which you can show by clicking Show filter… When filtering, only rows meeting all specified conditions are displayed. The Shipment Number and ZIP Code filters require an exact match of the entire column. The Created From–To filter shows only shipments created within the selected date range. Filters are applied only after clicking the Show button. When navigating or sorting within the form, the last-entered filter values remain—so if you haven’t clicked Show, the table may not reflect the current filter inputs. The Delete by filter button deletes all shipments that match the current filter. Each shipment can be edited or deleted by clicking the corresponding button in the table.Checkboxes on the left allow you to select shipments for label printing. After selecting the shipments you wish to print, click Print Selected to open the print form.Return shipments cannot be printed on their own. To print a return shipment, the corresponding primary shipment must be printed first. Once the primary shipment is printed, its return shipment row will be highlighted and marked as dispatched.Shipment Detail#
